I live and drive in Southern California. The weather is great, and the top goes up and down easily. I did make a typing error. I've had the year 2000 Z3 for 14 months. When I bought it, it had 37,000 miles. In the 14 months, I've added another 4000 miles. It's a pleasure to drive....

Tip #1 The gas gage was sticking and I had to watch the odometer to guess when I needed gas. I added fuel injector cleaner for 4 or 5 fill-ups, and cleared the gage!

Question #1 The rear plasticwindow is really hazy, with a yellow horizontal stripe. Any suggestions about cleaning it up before I resort to replacing it?

Hi Richard, welcome from me near Lincoln, UK. For the “crease line” on your plastic rear window, I used a product called Greygate Plastic Polish on my Z3 which I bought from eBay. If you can get some one to hold a piece of wood wrapped in a towel against the opposite side which you apply the polish to you will get better results without applying too much stress to the window stitching or zip. Whichever it is fixed in with.

Tony.
