Following on from my recent post on my experience of driving the new Zed 4 G29, as enthusiastic as I was, it took me a little time to make up my mind as to whether I really did want one or not. Well here is 'Missy', my Misano Blue Metallic G29. Some of you who are attending Zed-fest this weekend will get a chance to see her in the flesh and I hope be able to ask any questions about the car, which I may or may not struggle to answer.:thumbsup:

Gazza, I may need your help to add this to my signature pics!!! Thanks.

    Can you spot the differences???

Beautiful car Mike, will have a close look on Sunday. I like the fact that they have gone back to a soft top.:)

Yes Tony, I did in fact struggle with that one, I quite like the security of the metal roof in the E89. I've always felt fabric roofs to be a little vulnerable.

Not a big engined one though Paul, it's the 30i, which at my age has more power than I will ever use.

Yes Andy it's got a big boot, as you know I like to tour in France each year, We've been twice in Alpie, the E89. They have a large boot but anything in it is difficult to get to with the roof down. As the G29 is a ragtop the whole boot is accessible with the roof down. A small point perhaps but one which I found advantageous.

I can understand that Mike but I suspect that you, like the majority of us, hardly ever leave our cars in a place where they would be vulnerable to attack. I personally don't know of anyone who has had the roof damaged. But we would never leave my car at the airport long stay car park, that gets left to the tin top Eos.;)

I know Tony It's the perceived threat, in all the years I've owned ragtops, I've never had one damaged and I hope I never will, 'Touch Wood'
however I am always wary that they are more vulnerable to attack. As you say I never park it in a place that might be unattended.

I couldn't resist it, Ian as we 've had it nearly two months, it was either now or never!!! Besides it gives some of you old 'uns a chance to adjust your pacemakers before you see it for real!!!! :D:ymdevil:
