Just purchased my first Z3 from a estate sale in Naples, Florida. I was able to become the second owner of a 1996 Z3 that had (until the last five years or so) been lovingly cared for by its original owner. The last five years the Z3 spent in a garage with only some occasional attention. Working now to get the maintenance and the typical age-related repairs up to snuff.
I'm an archaeologist in Florida working for North America's largest renewable energy company. I've owned a number of British roadsters and would have loved to restore either an MGC or a TF (1500), but air-conditioning was a prerequisite for my wife. She hated the Miata, but loved the Z3. Easy choice there...
