Intro; not Z3 owner, here for a friend

Hi!

I don't own an BMW Z3, as it turns out. Some friends do, I'm helping them get it back on the road. (My own motoring is via a 1967 Mooney M20F single-engine airplane, a 1972 VW SuperBeetle, and a Hyundai Accent.)

If this works and posts, I will have some extremely specific electrical drain questions later today.
