Hi, a very quick intro from me. I have just taken ownership of my brother's Z3 2.8. He hasn't used it for a couple of years and the body is showing bad signs of deterioration. Being no newcomer when it comes to pulling things to bits, the front wing and sill cover are now removed and I'm just about to do the rear wing. The same needs doing on both sides. The inner sill structure looks good with slight surface rust. The car has only done 80K and has full service history so is worth fixing. Quick bit about me, as you can see from my avatar, I play at drag racing and have a 1923 Ford Model T....well, its a bit different from the Laurel and Hardy thing running 7.88 seconds at 176 in the quarter mile but it is road legal and I do about 3000 miles a year in it. I'm looking for Atlanta blue panels for this car so if anyone can help, please PM me.

Thanks Andy

Welcome Andy,

Be nice to see some pictures of your project as it progresses. I would have recommended @spurs fan in a coupe, but he's recommended himself already! (seriously though, really reliable seller).

Shout if you have any questions,

Gary

Hi Andy, great to have you join us. I'm in the process of having a 28 model a sport coupe, that's been turned into a roadster, built by students my friend teaches in Vernon, British Columbia Canada. I live in mid northern Manitoba and can't wait for the kids to enter it in the BC school drag race program. I'm supplying all parts and they are supplying labour. When it's done I'll do the same with another 28 model a SC car body I have and this second car will be built old style and most parts are already there. Good luck with your rebuild! JIM
