Hello. My name is Jessica and I just wanted to thank everyone in advance for all the help I'll be getting from this forum. Either by answering the questions I have now, or having previously posted tips and techniques that I can read about.
Have had my 2000 z3 for about 2 years now and have been slowly gathering tools and parts to start fixing her up. She drives nice but the previous owner took her all apart for a paint job and broke most of the clips in the process. He used a really ugly yellow glue, that didn't hold well, to piece her back together and it's just not working for me. So I'm in the process of; dismantling the dash and making new tabs (super glue and baking soda fix) for clips to go through, fixing the sagging glove box and a bit of minor rewiring in the center console. Oh yeah and replacing the soft top. Got a new (to me) soft top AND the whole convertible top frame from the pull a part for $87.00. Yep. Eighty seven dollars. And I need to install the front bumper cover I got at the same pull a part for $33.00 because, what can I say?!? Female driver fiddling with the radio dials + rail road tracks in a pothole filled road = badly cracked bumper cover.
Well, that's pretty lengthy considering I didn't know what to say after Hi My name is Jessica. Lol
