My central locking works ok, both locking and unlocking but sometimes my drivers door wont unlatch and I have to open it from the inside.
I haven't had the door card off yet to investigate but I seem to remember that some of you guys have had a similar problem in the past.
Could anyone give me any pointers?

Try shoving your thigh into the lock area as you open.

I’ve fixed that before from lubricating alone.

Oh dear. I hope you understood that. Sounds well dodgy reading it back.

The first is a temporary fix also to help diagnose . The second is the hopefully cheap and cheerful long term fix.

Something has probably dropped a little. Your thigh helps lift it back up off the latch.

Lubricating alone may work. If not it’s adjustment time.

Thanks Rob, I understand mate. If anybody asks what I'm doing I'll tell them I'm practicing my pelvic thrust =))

It might be your actuator sticking I have fixed it like Robert said by removing the door card and lubricating but on one occasion I had to remove and clean and lubricate the actuator itself. Worst case it's the actuator broken and you can find them cheap second hand normally

Actually on the occasion I was referring to it was just the latch on the outside of the door.

The current 2.8 that I have has the same problem, try opening the door and putting the catch in the lock position, pull the handle and it will more then likely open every time, if so it means that the catch on the B post needs adjusting, when mine sticks I push down on the door and it opens every time and when I look at the door I can see its sitting slightly to high when closed, just need to drop thr catch on the B post a couple of MM
