Just discvovered that you can now check online if a vehicle is insured via the Motor Insurance Bureau web site.

You can check if a vehicle is on the list of insured vehicles for free but to obtain details there is a fee of £4.50.
Worth knowing should you have a comming together with another vehicle. Nice to be able to do an instant check via your phone with so many uninsured drivers on the road these days.
Useful addittion to the exhisting MOT and Vehicle tax sites that you can use to check vehicles.
