Thought the airbag light on was a failure 
I'm 100% sure in the UK it is.Thought the airbag light on was a failure
They reset that, it was more a note of what the fault read.
Should I replace the whole wishbone mount, or just the perished rubber?

Airbag light on is a fail nowadays.

Defect Category
Missed a bullet there with the reset..
Wishbone mounts (lollipops) can be changed easily without needing to remove the wishbone itself..
buy them in this format with the bracket if you want to replace with standard:

That is an example there are many types
Unless you want to polybush, then you can buy with a bracket, or cut the old ones out, and put the new poly bushes in.
