So, I have a code that reads it's has problems; and the symptoms do match the code (occasional failure to start, and erratic idle when cold). I'm getting one new sensor tomorrow, and was goign to look for the proper tutorial, however, most of the pictures are gone!

Anyone has an alternative tutorial (for a complete newb! :)) ??

From what I can remember, the hardest part is getting your hand in between all the gubbins to unplug / plug in the connector. Remove the air intake rubber boot and MAF sensor for access to the plug and the oil filter top for access to the sensor Allen bolt. Other than that it is a straight forward job as long as the allen bolt comes out easily.

Excellent tutorial, thanks for posting. Perhaps the mods should update the 'official' how to, or perhaps even remove it as all the pics are gone... google still points to it tho.

Has the hand of Photobucket struck? Damn them.
No kidding, they really have screwed up the internet worse than pretty much any other company before. Now whatever you google, you end up with dead forum posts from X years back with dead pictures.

I've often wondered how some of these free services on the interweb actually exist, ain't never paid a penny for Google (just as an example) but they've still got shed-loads of cash. Or is it all a massive fiction that's going to come crashing down one day?

No. I think Google will run the entire world one day if they don't already.
