The indicator on the left hand side runs at twice speed. I replaced bulbs, checked and cleaned up earths with contact spray. They flash, but at twice speed. As in the indicator stalk no you can replace the indicator stalk without taking the wheel off.
What is the problem you have??
I just Googled "how to test a relay" and found a good "talk you through" on You Tube from "Ratchets and Wrenches" so I have some testing to do tomorrow.Coincidence that you suggested that. I Googled the problem today and found that that can be a problem with bad contact. He said the tallest relay in the fusebox is the relay for the indicators (not marked inside the lid what relay is what). I took it out sprayed with contact spray and put it back, but didn't make a difference. Not sure how to electrically test it.
Doh ! Got the relay off, but it is a 7 pin relay with different numbering system to the You Tube videos, so don't know how to test it.Try the relay in the fuse box that may well be the problem as it controls the flash rate .
Are you using LEDs for your indicators? The flash rate is directly connected to the resistance n the circuit.Doh ! Got the relay off, but it is a 7 pin relay with different numbering system to the You Tube videos, so don't know how to test it.
No Brian. i'm not using LED'sAre you using LEDs for your indicators? The flash rate is directly connected to the resistance n the circuit.
