A most individual colour scheme, can't say I have seen one like that before. My daughters first car was an Austin Mini in Russet Brown. Was always noticeable, won't repeat what her college friends called it!:)

Man what a peach, if it was LHD in the mainland it would be worth twice as much. Good luck with the sale.

Ah yes, my friends were very quick to give it a nickname.

I can't say it on an open forum but it begins with "T" and ends in "urd"

Nice unusual cars, both of them. Odd they both have brown interiors, I'd happily have either...

Blaster Bates once had an old Ford van which he painted brown Tim, his mates christened it " The Flying sh***";)

I know it may sound dappy to some of you Z people , but both these cars lack heated seats , sorry! but a must with any leather regardless of your opinions  Bought one for my partner , regretted not choosing with heated leather ever since as used throughout the year as her only transport

I retrofitted heated seats to our BMW E36 323i convertible last year, BMW still do a full aftermarket wiring kit for it. The car had all other factory options, but not heated seats, most odd, especially for a soft top.:(

The BMW wiring loom (which included all plugs etc) was £55, the BMW seat pads were £244 (for all 4), obtained two switches for £20. All parts were brand new in BMW boxes. I fitted the pads (took me all day but a trimmer would probably take a couple of hours) and an auto electrician charged me £400 (a days work) to install (he did a good job, removing all seats/carpets/much of the dash/replaced any broken clips etc). Total just over £700, but the warm leather seats were great this winter. A small price to pay to keep your lady happy!
This was of course for an 1997 E36 convertible so I don't know availability for the Z3, but would have thought a kit should be available.

It's not a big deal to retro fit. The standard heating wires in the Z3 seats are not the best anyway compared with a Z4 or even my Galaxy. It's better to get newer heating pads and run them higher up the backrest than standard for better distribution.
I'd like to do that to mine - easy enough to use the OEM switches to, I think @Sean d and @Antm72 have done this.

It's a minor point for two Z3 in such a nice rare colour combo, not to mention clean condition.
Beautiful cars both of them. That interior coulour is very classic. Like it.

Indeed mate, I have fitted new pads in the drivers sport seat, very simple and cheap upgrade, I like the heated elements but I woulkdn't even consider them when buying a Z as they are such a minor point of consideration,

I used the pafs to repair existing seat pads that had failed the seats in my case where already fitted with heaters. A two seat kit with relays and switches is not expensive
