Yes, but it's debatable that I would survive to spend it!!!! :))

i'd love to do something like this, with the safety gear theres very little chance of coming into harms way. Plus you'd get an amazing view.

Definitely....., when it is fastened to something,
The safety gear is attached to his belt for 99% of the climb and not the structure, at the top he is even using both hands on the carabiner and just standing on a ledge....
He wouldn't get away with climbing a loft ladder in that way in this country..
He would have to have two methods of anchorage, and only move one when the other is secured.

Definitely - but how about climbing up with a parachute and getting down the quick way ;)

I have sweaty hands now after watching that.......... :-o

The highest that I have ever worked was 107 Meters (351 feet) on a hanging scaffolding.
We went all the way up by lift but had to climb out and on to the scaffold.
It turned out that our safety lines were to short to be of any use while doing so.

Would not do that again in a hurry.

That's what i was thinking.

No way on this planet could I climb even 100ft up that dang thing, but I reckon if I got to the top I could jump off it with a parachute... Well, only for a million quid...

you might get me up there...but it would be a bi*** of a job to get me down again...they would have to dart me! :-s

Wouldn't fancy jumping off it with all the cables attached to it to keep it upright. A wing suit might get you far enough away from them I guess.
