On the bottom right of a thread click the quote button >

then add your comment

Hi Pete, i`m pretty useless on the comp,so when i dont use the quote button i just type it in, with one finger, ,Pete wrote or whatever

Once you have pressed the quote button >

, you get the post encased in the forum code tags

You can edit anything between between these tags, but don't edit the tags themselves or it won't work e.g. your post quoted and edit could be ...
