Genuine BMW Leather 5 Speed Illuminated ///M Gear Knob, in good condition and fully working order. A nice upgrade from the standard knob and looks great at night.

Recently purchased a new one so I no longer need this, more pics available if needed.

Looking for £30 posted.

Mine got a bit dirty at the front where your palm rests tried cleaning, it, is it a common problem, any info on cleaning would be helpful, have tried a leather cleaner didn't make any difference

You can try liquid leather, give it a clean and then dab the dye on where the worn patches are.
Its still black but no shine
i was thinking about applying the shine coat,
but as mark said

Ray,

Don't bother with the m one.

Get a storm motorwerks one with matching handbrake handle.

Much better.

Ps don't forget the cig lighter plug too.

They only shine when they are worn, I brought a brand new one last week which is why I sold the other one and it is not shiny at all its a matt finish.

Here is the new one fitted

I think the nappa leather on the ///M seats would have also come out of the factory with a matt finish. A lot of leather is like this and it goes shiny over time. Using a good leather cleaner like gliptone brings back the matt finish, or it certainly has on mine in the past and got rid of the shine :D
