I, and I would guess a whole lot of you guys out there would love to be able to still do this. Sadly the Health and Safety epidemic has killed the chance of rummaging around a field full of cars looking for the bits you need.
If you watch "Nathan's garage" on YouTube you will know that he often goes and spends some quality time recovering good, used parts for his builds. I do miss being able to do this personally.
