Considering it was hit/impacted multiple other vehicles which I guess would have restricted its progress it took an awfully long way to come to a halt. Well over 30 perhaps? I don't know the limit on the road but it looks a 30 type area.
Steve.

I'll stick my neck out and say I don't think it would have been much over 30 if it was, it's hard to slow down without any wheels on the ground.

When I looked in to this a bit further there were so many conflicting news reports. Some where the driver left the scene straight away, some where he was there three hours later until the car was towed and the parked car owners came back.

One news article seemed more interested in the 320d which was hit. There was some talk the car had been racing a Maserati earlier that day in Sloane Square. So much varying information it's hard to tell what was going on at all.

That said, I don't think he was going that fast either. Hell of a mess though :(

The Telegraph :

The supercar has been filmed being driven around London in the past with flames firing out of its exhaust

The BMW involved is owned by art consultant Lila Afshar, who returned from a Mother’s Day lunch with her two daughters to see the crash wreckage.

She told the London Evening Standard: “We showed up about three hours after the incident and there was a letter on the windshield.

“The Lamborghini was being towed away and the owner came up and explained what had happened. He was really apologetic about it.”

Graham Schultz of supercar specialists Modena Group estimated the repair bill at £90-£100,000.

Earlier this month, the Lib Dem pensions minister Steve Webb said affluent people approaching retirement should be free to blow their pension pot on a Lamborghini saying the government was "less bothered" about how people spent their pension.

Mr Webb raised the prospect of people in their 50s and 60s splashing out on the Italian sports cars amid an intense debate over Chancellor George Osborne's decision to introduce the most far-reaching reform of the taxation of pensions since 1921.

Ha, go for it I say..........

You can get flames out of the exhaust by revving the engine when it's parked haha
