Yesterday, I removed a cover I had over the car. The clear coat on the bonnet had blistered up and started to peal and I had stopped at a repair/paint shop and got an estimate to repair it. I had to remove the cover to drive it to the shop. I folded the cover and opened the trunk (boot) to store the cover. The inside top of the boot was drenched. I was told before to replace the brake light seal to prevent this from happening. The last time I had opened the boot, it was wet and I dried it completely. I then covered the car. The cover is waterproof. When I removed the cover this time, the entire car was dry except the inside top of the boot. Now it wasn't wet from any rain. I had recently replaced the antenna grommet. Perhaps water had entered the hole where the old grommet was and is sitting in a pool somewhere below the deck of the boot? The rest of the boot, including the carpet fabric is completely dry. ??????????????? Frankie
