Yes I love finding a new use for old thing's, this is my coffee table made from an old school desk. It's the best coffee table I have ever had, plenty of room for all my tat. My table behind it is an old mangle. Could come in useful if Brexit goes badly along with my wind up gramophone

That's all the shelves done for this wall, total cost was about £40, cant buy one for that price, carrie is no doubt going to spend a fortune filling them

One of my friends uses drift wood and such for laying a decorative framing to mirrors looks quite good.
Started the work top today, bloody hard work, 3 hours of sanding followed by 2 hours of putting it together just needs cutting to size, oiling and staining, oh and somehow I have to get it home.
All great stuff. I would love to give it a go but sadly, unlike you Sean, I don’t have access to space don’t have the tools :-(

Thanks Mike, I certainly felt satisfied when it fitted as I only allowed a few mm tolerence, best bit is that Carrie loves it so I have plenty of brownie points in the bag
, good job really as I have my eye on another Z, its got Alpina wheels and Lots of ACS bits, its a breaker, going to look at it at the weekend
