With that wingflap thats a baby isn't it ?

Saw a poor blackbird being run ragged last year with two pretty adult looking chicks - all three were on the pile of food, the two 'babies' doing the feed-me wingflap thing and the adult having to pop the food in to their little beaks. Its right there ! Bend down and pick it up !

Probably teenagers . . .

That's a Dunnock. See's it's own reflection and thinks it's got a rival male vying for it's territory.

Often seen attacking wing mirrors, easily solved by putting a carrier bag over them (the mirrors not the bird :D).

More commonly known as a Hedge Sparrow. I cleaned all the bird crap off the sill yesterday and it has obviously been back. I have seen one at the other back window too.

Tony.

had some of these in my back garden today about half a dozen sat under my bird feeders whilst two other rattled and shook the feeders to feed the others on the ground
