Hi all
I’m a newbie to the world of BMW Z cars. I bought a silver 1.9 140bhp 1998 R plate with only 58k on the clock. Chuffed to bits with her. It’s in amazing condition. Not being greedy but I want another one now. I was thinking about getting a 3.0i. The 1.9 needs some new Mirror’s if anyone has any for sale or could help with getting some replacement parts please let me know. Thanks

Thanks for your help and welcome messages, just trying to get me head around the site a bit at the moment, so if i do something wrong on here Just let me know. I've had little silver about 2 weeks now and my intention was to buy a 2.8 or 3.0i but little silver came up for sale and shes mint with only 58k miles at a price i couldn't refuse, so i think i will keep her and still buy the 6 pot as well.
I do want buy something rare so my question is how many 3.0i are left in the uk? i cant find this info anywhere, infarct the info on any of the sites about how many Z3's are left is a bit poor.
also if i go for the 3.0i do i go for Auto or Manual?

I guess a purist would say it has to a manual, but I love my Z4 3.0 Auto which has the same engine and box as @mwpe Z3 I believe. Best to try both if you can.
