Hi all,

I have to clear my conscience and fess up. I have been here for years (2014) had a Z3 and a Z4 which I sold a year into starting my own business to fund my discovery sport (work truck, family car all-roundseven seat bus full of leather and a panoramic sun roof) but I have lurked ever since enjoying your space and following your stories and wanted to get back into a Z3 2.8ltr. Anyway cut a long story short, this second summer of lockdown Debs and I are really missing top down motoring but 20 year old Z3‘s are holding strong money.

Popped into Perry’s Mazda in Canterbury took a few demonstrators out 2.0ltr and 1.5ltr and came back with a huge grin on my face - good deal - no mot’s for three years - tiny engine cheap to run and no roof, wind on my bald head - I could go on.

So, I have done it….very very sorry would like to stay friends and loving it. A few pics to soften the blow, and I will still be lurkin

Best wishes to all ~Simon & Debs

A really nice car Si, enjoy.

Tony.

Thanks @t-tony I have followed your exploits with interest, you directed me to a fix for my first Z3. If I’m passing through on my way north I will pop in.

It's a great drive the current MX-5. Hope you get plenty of enjoyment from it.

Please do mate.

Tony.

Very nice, I like the Fiat version too. Must say, it's the kind of little sportscar that many of us have loved over the years, whereas the new Z4 looks too big for my liking.

Lovely looking new car you have 🙂
Enjoy 😊

Good to see you back Si, might look out of place in the Vanity stand :)

Thanks @Shelly and I never left but you may be right @Lee. I‘ll pop it the other side of the fence when I visit. You can’t test it though as I am not sure you could get in it. Can’t see how anyone taller than 5ft 6/7inch can drive one. It’s a good job Debs and I fit the size criteria.
