How to remove!

Hi peeps, had my z a few weeks now and slowly making a list of what needs doing and what needs buying! I have a 2.2 sapphire black edition and I would like to know if it is possible to remove the the front part of the roof assembly as in the casting the the roof handles are in. The paint is coming off and it has some corrosion so i would like to remove it and get it blasted and powder coated. Is there an easy way of removing or even a long way ?

Looks like removal may involve detatching the windscreen rubber across the top, could you not mask it all up and spray paint it in situ?

Yeah it’s the front of the hood assembly I’m trying to remove.
