I was thinking about getting my steering wheel recovered, after the good reports from ‘Royal’

Is it just a case of disconnecting the battery waiting a while, loosening the two screws at the back, unplugging the airbag, then removing the steering wheel nut, and the steering wheel comes off?

16mm nut in the centre, make sure your wheels are dead centre when you remove it so it goes back in the right place

Is it the same as the seat, do not put the ignition on when the airbag is out?

Best not to mate. Another tip for you. After loosening the centre nut do not remove it but leave it scewed on by hand at least 3 or 4 full threads. That way when you pull the wheell off it wont hit you in the face.

Tony.
