The 3 will outlast me by a long shot @t-tony!! And I just prefer the preface lift cars as they are more in line with what I knew as a sports car growing up! The z4 just seems more an old folks car!! lol. Enjoy what you have though no matter the model. JIM

A Z3 is a rare sight today on the roads, but the wide body bit is as somebody already said, dealer sales talk. Trying to find a low mileage 3.0 in private hands is something else however. Took me over a year, but definitely worth the wait. Whoever said "too much power for the chassis" was obviously a 2.8 owner.

out and about last sunday, I did not see any z3, however there were lots of mx5 about, and a lot of them were mk1 type, the z3 will inevitably become rare, but hopefully that is some years off yet, i will carry on regardless, and enjoy mine for a good while, all being well
