How much for a new coat

A friend of mine is looking at a Z3 he is thinking of buying. He thinks the car is sound, but the paint is looking a bit dated and some panels have faded more than others. What sort of cost is he looking at to have the whole car resprayed in its original colour?

I paid £2800 cash for the whole car including 3 panels. I don't think you'd get much, if any, change out of £3k + inc VAT for a good job.

As you say dated and faded I assume that there are no damaged paint or rust showing and would recommend that the car is detailed professionally and will be surprised at the improvement. I would guess full respray is 2-3k. For a long term keeper car probably worth it

Full panel off respray on my Imola M £2250 but I stripped it myself and put it back together (Zedshed lads helped put it back together) (best just point that out or I'll get serious stick)
