How do you clean the salt from underneath your Zed?

Decided to make more use of my Zed over winter but have only used it once because of all the salty spray being kicked up on the motorway.

Resorted to lugging my tilting ramp outside and getting underneath it with a hosepipe, but it’s a bit of a palaver - can’t do that every time I use it. Especially when it’s dark or raining

What’s the best way of washing the salt spray from beneath your Zed, and making sure you get it out of all the nooks & crannies?

What do all you all-year-rounders do or use?

Am I being too precious?

It would be nice if you could have a snow foam type bottle arrangement that you would use last, after a clean.
That way you could chuck a bit of soluble oil in it and treat the underside for a bit of added protection.. If you get what I'm saying here. I used to use this method on boat trailers, works a treat against salt...

The crooks and nannies you can get at with a hose pipe aren't the problem. The problem is the nooks and crannies that you CAN NOT not get at, even with a pressure washer. The salt really does get everywhere - behind the wheel arch liners especially that little bit at the very bottom at the ends of the sills. Behind the outer cills. Behind that little rubber mud guard you've got at the front.

You can hose it all you want but you won't get it out.

If you wanna drive in winter then all you can do is keep driving it rain, hail and shine and most of the salt will get washed out next time it rains . . or not. Keep your underbody seal in good order.

Living in Cumbria, the wettest County in England, we have plenty of rain, those Lakes don't get filled by magic.
