Has anybody tried hot glue sticks for ding removal?
Have got a small ding on my bonnet - can't figure out how it has happened. From certain angles it isn't noticeable but from others it stands out like a sore thumb.
It is on a double skin section so can't get at it from underside.
Have been told it should come out using a hot glue stick pull which is new to me.
Searched YouTube and there are many methods but wondered if anybody on forum has tried it?
TIA

Thought about it but haven't tried it. Seem to remember Ed China doing it on an episode of Wheeler Dealers and it worked.

I used a sink plunger to pull out a dent on a mates car, worked really well.

I bought a kit off eBay to pull a couple of dents out of my lads pick up, after spending a couple of hours on it we gave up and got a professional mobile dent guy to do it properly,I would say you would be better off getting a quote off an expert

Thanks Malc - I have done similar in the past on a larger dent. I have tried a small rubber plunger on this but there isn't enough grip. Need a more concentrated grip so thought of the hot glue one.

Thanks Mark -Asked at local body shop when they were spraying wing panel - usual shaking of head and suggestion of a new bonnet. May try Chips-Away mobile service.
