Hot day in Derbyshire.

Well,it was too hot to waste a day like this,so out came 'Roisin Dubh' for a drive around the Peak District.
Stopped at The Barrel ,Bretton, for lunch outside enjoying the views from up there.

Glad you made the most of it - good pics.
We were not as lucky this side - 23' at midday looking good but down to 18' by 1400hrs and the rain, thunder and lightning rolled in.

Yes ,I saw that the west had caught the rain jonco. No doubt there will be plenty more to come for all of us over the winter.Got to make the most of the end of the summer!
