Hi, has anyone replaced all the rubber hosing on their Z3. The brake pipes were replaced when I got mine but at twenty year old it is difficult to tell how old or worn hosing is and can be a real pain on a trip.

I am thinking of replacing it all but wondered how big a job it is, where best to buy necessary hosing and likely cost.

Currently partway through holidaying in z and covering lot of mileage and hopefully do more in the future so trying to address the potential problems that could be foreseeable....I know everything can't be covered.....driven to France in her and was great, even without air con...

Good preventative move to consider replacing hoses, start with the top and bottom radiator hoses, they might look ok but after twenty years the insides will be an unknown condition. Then move on to the heater hoses, worth renewing all the clips for stainless jubilee clips, better than the crimped type. Worth checking over all the vacuum hoses whilst your under there for any signs of cracking.
Visual check of the brake hoses should suffice if they were replaced earlier.

Just done mine with a set of Black Diamond braided, all 6 hoses £70 and no need for washers which some kits need as they are designed to fit the z3, the quality is superb
