Entrance:
We will be using the first entrance on the right. Take the exit for Drove Lane of the A46/A1133 roundabout (first exit if coming from Lincoln, 3rd exit if coming from Newark/A1). There will be signs and marshals on the entrance.
The road in is well-surfaced with little or no humps and bumps, but please drive slowly as pedestrians could be crossing to get to the toilets.
There will be separate parking for exhibitor and visitor vehicles. Please follow the signs and guidance of the marshals.
Exit:
Exit will be via the same route as the entrance.
Entrance fee:
The entrance fee is £2 per vehicle, whether you are exhibiting or just visiting. Please pay the marshal with the big bucket!
Catering:
We will have a range of delicious catering options on site. So you can skip your Sunday dinner!
Toilets:
Toilets are a 3 minute walk from the main parking area
Make a day of it:
A short walk away you have Elk Motorsport Go-Karting, Newark Air Museum, Newark Golf Centre and Newark Indoor Bowls Club.

‘Horsepower at the Hall’ – is a monthly classic and sports car and bike gathering. We started the event at Doddington Hall, Lincoln, but had to relocate to the Newark Showground when we outgrew the Hall.
I am a local enthusiast with a passion for nice cars and good grub and have set this up as a venue for like-minded enthusiasts to bring along their pride and joy for a chat and a coffee in a beautiful location.
There is a small charge for the event required to cover the costs of site hire, but I would like to make it clear that it has been conceived by myself as a way to engage with fellow enthusiasts and see a wide range of cars and bikes... in the same place. It is not an event that the showground has conceived to drive additional revenue.
We meet on the edge of the showground, in a nice grassed area backing on to a lovely tree line. There are plenty of other things to do on site if you would like to make a day of it.
Whilst the event is predominantly aimed at classic and sports cars and bikes, we are not fussy and everybody is welcome! If you do not have a vehicle to display but would like to come along to see the other vehicles, please feel free!
