Hello from Truro. Have you tried enquiring at DVLA to see if they are available ? They wont tell you who has them though

Yep, do know that both were registered in N. London in late 90's.

What happens to a reg if a car is scrapped for eg. and not retained on paper ?

I believe the DVLA would take "ownership" unless it is retained by the original owner.
