I am thinking about fitting a new hood to my car, but which colour should I go for?

Do you mean tan, as in light brown? If so, may work but needs a lot of work to keep it from looking grubby!

In fairness it doesn't look too bad with a tan roof. And even the blue one doesn't look daft.
But I am the man who only ever paints his walls magnolia. So I'm going to stick with the vote for black.
Yes, you can get a number of different colours from most soft tops specialist. I would imagine tan is not a problem - it may be used more frequently on other vehicles so might even be a stock colour. Burgundy is also a popular Z3 alternative colour. And I think green is common on some cars too.

I would say green might look ok? Jack Smith in Swansea says he can do any colour of hood, even white if you wanted one.
