The new coin will enter circulation during 2017. But who likes it?

Can you give me a couple of thousand so I can test drive them?

Current ones are too easy to forge @Grumpy - a large proportion of those in circulation are wronguns.

To easy to forge Grumps, they reckon there is almost as many fake £1 coins as genuine!

Indeed there did....I have about 10 of them on a silver bracelet which my grandma had made using coins she had saved. Unfortunately they all have holes drilled in them so are worthless.

My s***'s custom!
The shape is useful. At least now I can use a spanner to get them out of my mate's hand when it's his round. Tight git.
