Write Up Hogs Head Car Show between Monmouth and Abergavenny Saturday July 8th 2022

Hogs Head Show attended today I was the only Z3 exhibiting, did meet a couple of other owners who were parked in the Public Car Park area
Varied makes attending this year, ranging from Pre 1950's to 1990's

Was that an SD1 a couple of cars along Col? Looks like you had a good day too. There are a couple of joints down the Florida Keys, called Hog Heaven and Hogs Breath Saloon. The headline caught my eye!

Yes it was an SD1, what took my fancy today was a Ford Capri 1600GT that brought back memories of the 1600 I had back in the 1970's. I was rather taken by a Ford Corsair Crayford Convertable that was in excellent condition. An outstanding Fordson E83W Van restored to an as new condition complete with sign written sides was the best spot of the day.

Crayfords made some lovely convertible conversions mate, and, it has to be said, some rather hideous creations too. Mk.2 Cavalier springs to mind.
There was a beautiful Mk. 1 Capri in orange just like our local pub landlord had back in the day. That brought back some memories.
