At a car show here a couple of years ago we bought guesses on how long an old 78 chev 350 ci motor would run after all the oil was drained and a brick put on the gas peddle when it was started up. Everyone laughed as I paid my money and wrote down 2 1/2 hours and three hrs. Surprise, they made me shut the car of at three hours one minute. Won a choice of keeping the car or $278.00 which was all the money collected. I took the money to the beer garden of course. So it's amazing how long they will run with no oil. Oh and just for the heck of it, I started it back up again and drove it onto the carrier. JIM
