When I bought my Z in 2008, it had previously had a personal registration number and was then re- registered back to it's original number. Just now out of curiosity, I put the old number into the MOT check site and see that it is still on a Z3. Does anyone recognise DCO 88Y?

Thats intersting Mike, the guy that bought my 2.0l has never MOT'd it, however it it taxed and insured, seema strange considering what he paid for, just short of £4k

That does soun odd Sean, perhaps he taxed it for 12 months just before the MOT ran out and is driving it with no MOT but it doesn't make sense.

I am sure that is what happened, he should be on the forum being a Zowner for that long. He only had mine for about a year.

I have a feeling this plate is on either a silver Z3M roadster.

Thanks Brian, that is interesting, I noticed that he does not do many miles, perhaps he keeps it for track days. His name is David Cobby which explains the registration.
