398k miles. More than half a million km. No, there was few cars able to get to that sort of mileage, like W123 and W124 mercs with indestructible, though low powered, diesel engines.

Not a BMW, I am afraid.

I have a 91 merc 190E with well over 300K on it and the motor runs great, uses no oil, just a small trans problem at present needs sorting so don't see why a 300K BMW motor wouldn't be it's equal, JIM
