Great thankyou for the detailed information is it the brake switch by the pedal under neath the trim? When you run the ABS pump with INPA, it wants you to push the brake peddle to 80%. I take this is mean that it want some pressure on the brake system to be able to push the air out of the ABS pump. The 80% peddle push is good for one pump run/bleed. After that, there is no pressure in the system to really push the air through and you have to push the peddle again.
What works for me, is to unplug the brake sensor switch. This tell the DME that the brake peddle is pushed. Connect a Motive Pressure Bleeder to the master cylinder and pump it up to 15 PSI. As the brake peddle is not pushed down (Master Cylinder ports open), the pressure bleeder applies pressure to the brake system. You can then run the ABS pump and bleed the calibers with good pressure in the system multiple times.
Remember to:
- Watch the master cylinder level and don't run it dry
- Watch the pressure on the motive bleeder to keep it around 15 PSI
- Give the ABS pump a rest every now and again. It is short duty rated. Not a pump to burn out due to over use.
