Hi , welcome , I got my rear window fitted by a local car upholsterer, cost £80 and saved me loads of hassle.

Thanks for the welcome and for the advice. Happen to know anyone in London? I've been in touch with a couple of BMW specialist and just waiting to hear back. Had one quote for 200 quid...seems a tad steep!

The back window on my Silver Z3 started coming away at the bottom corner, so got a replacement screen fitted at a cost of £200.
Then 4 months later found that the zip seam on the roof side was actually coming away from the roof. So no use even getting a replacement screen.
Visited a bloke in Swansea called Jack Smith who replaced the whole roof and the rear window is stitched in. So no future worries about it coming undone. Cost about £300 and took about 3hrs.
Very happy and looks great.
