My name is Sally Cammell. My husband and I own a 2.8 Z3. This is our second Z3. We love them.
We are new to this forum and are just finding our way around it.

Today we have been to Vanity at Beaulieu and had a great time. We also own a 330 Clubsport which we also took to the event, We are also on a look out for a 3.0 si Z4 to complete our fleet!

This September we are going to take the Z3 on our first European road

trip to Italy, via Geneva, any advice on this would be greatly appreciated as this is our first driving trip abroad. We are very excited about it. Our Z3 is 20 years old and we have had a few problems with her, but we have hopefully sorted these now.

:welcome:to the forum from West Cumbria. Plenty on here have done this or similar trips, I'm sure they'll be happy to part with their knowledge. I think the most important is full AA European breakdown cover that will get your zed back home should the worst happen, worth its weight in gold if needed.

Hi and Welcome to .org :welcome: good luck with the Euro trip, did one in June with some other forum members its great fun and the roads are usually better ................ as is the coffee ;);)

If you want some good euro advice try @Mint @billz they spend so much time driving over there they need to re-apply for UK citizenship when they come home

Hi @Sally Cammell,:welcome: to the forum from me too in Staffordshire.

You'll find driving on the continent easy, the French roads are billiard table smooth and very much quieter than here in the UK. As Andy says you'll need breakdown cover also you need to extend your car insurance for use in Europe (may already be included on your policy), sometimes called a green card. If you're driving on the Swiss motorway network you'll need a vignette.
If you need any more info start a conversation with me (click the envelope icon next to your username at the top of the screen) rather than clog up your intro thread. HTH.
