hello to all and I am very happy to be a member of the forum and the M44 massive!

I would like to say as a "lurker" pre purchase the information and enthusiasm you all have for these cars convinced me that it was the right choice over....

Saab 93 turbo

Mazda MX5

Toyota MR2

MGF

Fiat Barchetta

and the outside possibility of a Z4 (a fine car but I much prefer the styling of the Z3)

In may I purchased my 1.9 auto in atlanta blue....having looked at the other possible ragtops in my up to 4k price range the Z3 just won hands down, It is a hell of a lot of car for not much money and I now have the Z3 bug, I can't see a time when I wouldn't want to own one of these wonderful cars.
it is also able to carry 2 guitars and a pedal board in the boot and a medium sized amp on the passenger seat! and when not working i have found the golf clubs go in no problem..

It is my every day car and I found a "good-un"
down in norwich for just shy of 2.5k, two previous "mature" lady owners 46,000 on the clock and a FSH from a reputable local indie mechanic overall condition was great, only the hood microswitch and the windscreen washer pump have failed since and they were both (thanks to the forum) a cheap and easy fix.

so far I have done several trips to devon and back from surrey, as well as a good mix of urban, country and M-way driving and the car has not missed a beat and puts a grin on my face every time i put my key in the ignition, current mileage 52,000..thats 6k in the 4mths since purchase! and I am looking forward to a long and happy relationship with my Z.. :)

Welcome to the M44 Massive, keeping it real since 2011, this is by far the best version to own, don't let any pretenders tell you otherwise (BMG) and hopefully that blue will wash off soon, to reveal a deep lustrous Artic Silver, any questions on this version just hollow!
