Just joined this forum. I’m also a member of some of the Z4 Facebook groups and have stumbled over the upcoming meet-up at Beaulieu which led me here.
My wheels are a Z4 (E89) 2.8i M Sport in discrete Melbourne Red
To me, the E89 remains one of the most beautifully designed cars in a tradition spawning from Elvis Presley’s BMW 507 to the Jag E Type, the ‘72 Corvette all the way to the BMW Turbo / M1 which got me into cars as a kid.
If anyone’s interested, I’ve added some subtle mods to the car:
- added chrome side indicators
- Apple CarPlay via the UniChip box
- rear cam in numberplate
- larger iDrive controller and chrome aluminium surround
- aluminium pedals
- various codings using Carly
Also thinking of getting the engine remapped but haven’t made my mind up.
The Z4 is just a great looking piece of design and engineering. Anyway, here some obligatory car pics - if you drive past me, please say “hi”
