Hi guys

Best wishes for a speedy recovery from me. Oh I would love a coupe and hope it brings a big grin to your face

Hi, not been around for a while was very busy with a tricky dissertation and some clinical trials. Then around September I started getting quite unwell, after self refering to my GP, I was put on the urgent cancer pathway.

I can only say this was quite a shock and very scary, I work in cancer research and see a lot of patients who have also been refered. Most have very positive outcomes with early diagnosis and either surgical procedures or drug interventions.

So a lot of tests and scans later, I had a couple of complications which delayed surgery, l still need a further op but have been taken off the pathway. So great news for me there not such great news, was the Z I had been working on was written off, I believe by a dustbin wagon that did not report and just drove off.

So long story short its been about a month now where I feel I am getting back to normal. So I decided to treat myself to another Z. This time a coupe, it needs everything a twenty year old Z needs and probably more, but I love it, picked it up from up north this weekend.

Looking forward to working on and driving it around will pop a pic up later.

Andy
Good to see you back. Hope everything goes well for you.............................Frankie

Welcome back and with a great coupe Best wishes .........Ant

Hi, the coupe needs a lot of work hence the purchase price, was well below what it should have been. I have a budget of around 5k to get it where I want it and could not do it without the Z shed's help, cheers guys.

The car appears solid but it has not been touched for the last 15 years, being realistic this was a heart purchase rather than a head purchase. So fully prepared for a bit of a ride with this one, having said that I love the look and driving it. I guess if our cars were about sensible rather than fun and passion, none of us would be here.

So will see were it goes.

Andy

Never a truer word Andy.

Tony.

Bloody hell Andy I hoped you did dodge the big C scare and gave it the biggest up yours. I do d the same purchase with my roady and got bitten with an engingine rebuild or down mot my enthusiastic driving but these things become a life of passion but as long as your enjoying the project is what matters and the journey getting towards your goal so enjoy it and the moments it bring wether the drive or meetings of friends.
