Just bought a 2010 Z4 e89 3.0 automatic.
Really pleased so far.
Crazily, I bought it without seeing, hearing or driving it but thankfully it is as good as described.
Had it delivered by transporter as I didn't fancy an 8 hour trip on public transport and a 7 1/2 hour drive home from a then snowy area of Scotland.
First trip is planned for Easter with a journey around the north of Scotland probably a large part of the NC500 or as my friend calls it Scotland's roads.
Are there any north West uk meetings? I'm near to Warrington Cheshire.
Be nice to meet up and find out what is what with the car.
Cheers
Chris

Hi Chris, welcome from me near Lincoln.
Meets are a bit thin on the ground this time of year but will soon start to pick up as the days get longer.
Click on the forums tab and check "Forthcoming Events" section.

Tony.

Keeping my SAAB for the workhorse and according to SWMBO the Z4 is for my mid life crisis! Charming .
Also got a couple of motorcycles so I hardly think a Z4 is a MLC. not that I care as it's in my garage now:)

Cheers Mint.
Thankfully the interior is nowhere near as red as it looked in the photos the dealership sent me.

Got the Z4 booked in at my local indy for the satnav maps to be updated this weekend ready for a 12 day trip around Scotland at Easter.
I find the satnav handy for the last part of a journey to get to the digs but it still has the original 2009 maps on it so an upgrade is a no brainer.
Not had any chance to get out in it yet, fitting a new kitchen and decorating to get the brownie points up. Not that the weather has been fit enough yet.
Bought a cover for it so I don't have to look at it every time I go into the garage and a ctek charger to keep the battery conditioned.
Genuinely wondering if I should replace the 19" virtually new runflat Bridgestone rears with non runflat Michelin as I've read that the 19" wheels are made of cheese and really don't want them cracking, any thoughts?
