Hi all,
I'm Iain from Gloucester (UK).
I have owned my M44 Z3 for a year. it is Atlanta blue and originally had a beige leather interior and the usual narrow rear arches but in the past year i have been busy and replaced the interior for black leather, fitted a 2.8 widebody rear end with 20mm spacers running 17" style 32s and i have a lot more things planned to do over the next year or so.
is there anyone else on here around the Glos area?
i am looking forward to being a member here and getting involved.

Hi Iain, from Lincoln, and a big welcome to the forum. This is a great place for info and a little friendly banter, always with the brilliant Z3 at the fore front. Mine is a 2000 2.0 Auto and I love it to bits.:)

Hello and Welcome Iain from the other side of the Pond. Sounds like a fine Z you have there. Would love to see some pics of it when you get the chance. Easy thing to do to load the pics. Good place to ask any questions you want to. Lot of fun here aside from the serious car talk. Several members have the same model as you and have loads of experience with mechanical things and many have added various mods, perhaps like the ones you have in mind for your car. Ask them about it. They're all happy to help. Sometimes we get off topic on the threads and have quite a bit of fun. Not all cut and dry here. I think you will enjoy very much. Frankie

Hi Iain
Welcome from me in sunny Walton on Thames. Sounds as if you already know your way around the Z3. Maybe you will be the one answering the questions.
Enjoy your time on the forum.

wow.....thanks for all the welcome messages.
i have some photos of the work being undertaken but none of the car as it is now so i will get her out of the garage tomorrow and take some and post them up.
i will also start a project thread as i have forgotten half of the small detail changes so it will help me keep track of what i have done.
i look forward to chatting with you all and possibly meeting some of you at some point, you seem a really friendly bunch.;)

i am looking to get some staggered wheels to fill the rear arches, a few interior chrome / aluminum trim parts and a few other small bits and bobs. i have her booked in for a custom SS exhaust in a couple of weeks too.
i have been trying to get some photos for the past few days but rain has stopped play. hopefully on the weekend i'll get some decent shots then i can start the progress thread.
