Hi guys n girls. Name is Conor and im from Ireland. Just after joining and said id say hi. Im into classic cars and restored an LJ70 landcruiser and have a 1997 1.9 z3 which was bought 3 years ago to just go on road trips. It failed its road test and came out with a dangerous sticker
so the work started on it. So far im after lowering it on HK springs (springs were broken in test), replaced the breaking discs to Brembo's. Bosh front callipers, made new break lines throughout. New CAT, new exhaust. Replaced the entire cooling system (old rad blew up on me). New stereo and speakers. pioneers in the footrest (standard size) 4x6 behind the seats. Thinking of an amp with built in sub but waiting to find the right one. Relined the steering wheel as the leather was in horrible condition. fitted a wind deflector (had to make the brackets but what a difference it makes). Did the usual bushings and trailing arms etc. cam belt and crank sensors. Im just after modifying e46 m-tech seats and installing them. Always hated the standard seats and the new ones i love. Tight fit and a lot of head scratching but i got there in the end and love them. My next job is i want to get the roof replaced as the window is only glued into place and it just needs replacing at this stage. Im also thinking of fitting the e46 armrest i have in the shed
