Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to say hello, after recently purchasing a Z3 and signing up today - I've been hunting for one for quite a long time, mainly to suit budget but also preference (slightly picky...), and finally got the one I've been waiting for; it needs a little bit of work - mainly cosmetic, and thankfully not a huge amount as it appears to have had a very easy life. I'm hoping to do as much of the work as I can myself (well, I'm going to have a bash at it at least!).

It's the 2.2i Straight Six in Titan Silver (see Avatar - taken on the first day I got it) - relatively low mileage, good history, and there's not a spot of rust/bubbling on it anywhere, well not that I can see yet. It's booked in with a friend next week to get lifted up and have a once-over, so hopefully I'll get a better view of how things look and what will be involved!

I've owned BMWs for the last 9 years - E87, E30 and the F90, and after recently changing to something more practical for family life, I've been having withdrawals and decided to treat myself.

Apologies in advance for any delayed responses, or lack of posts - life, work and a young family currently occupy most of my time - I'll try to be an active member however, initially, the majority of my time here will be spent learning/seeking advice to begin with.

Catch up soon, and thanks in advance.

Thanks
Nick

Cheers Paul - sounds good. If I can get it in the condition I'd like it to be in, I may consider it. Just pulled the rear quart dent out with a suction cup and some WD40 to start with - so we're getting there!

:welcome:Hi Nick and welcome from me in Hertfordshire.:welcome: Don't worry about your Z not looking the way you would like it yet, we've all been there, its nice to see a Z before all the extra work/bits, that way it's obvious to all how much you've done, it'll be worth every hr spent. If your not prepared to bring it along yet then keep us all informed by posting updates with pics, we love to see a Zs progress.. Plenty of high quality info help on here.
