Welcome, from Mansfield.

Hope you’re able to get the Citroen sorted and moved on and able to look for the Z3 you want. Any idea on engine size, colour, post or prefacelift?
Hi Jim, thanks for the welcome, I don't know what I'll end up with, it'll all depend on what I get for the Citroen. My choice will be more on condition and mileage rather than searching for a particular version. A 2.2 would be nice, must be an automatic. Chris

Hi youngster , I drive the 2.2 and have great fun ,I am now 74 and 18 stone so you have no worries, but for some odd reason I find it a lot easier getting and out with the roof on. Son bought this 6 years ago but 3 years ago needed a mini ( turned out to be a fully loaded CooperS)for driving in London,so I took it over. Bit but I do consider the 2.2 the best option.
Well that's reassuring! By the time I buy it I'll be 68, yes my choice would be a 2.2 but with possibly a limited budget mileage and condition would be the main factor, but it must be an automatic. Thanks for your welcome, Chris

Z3
Hi all, at the grand age of 67 I've only just got the Z3 bug! All my life I've had plushy saloon/estates, of late 2 X 5 series, the wife with a 3 compact. I've also had as a hobby interest a Citroen XM which I still have and here comes the crux of it. Since retiring from the TV repair business I am having problems rationalising my two plushy cars, my Citroen and our shared high spec 2009 3 series touring. What I came to realise is that what I want is a fun car. After researching I found the Z3 and love the looks of it. I don't have the car yet and can only afford what I get for my 24 yr old 45k mile Citroen so with work to do on it I'm still some time away from a purchase. About me, as a TV engineer and with a serious hobby interest in car mechanics since the early 70's and computers since the 1990s I was well placed to be able to do my own diagnostics and currently use a Delphi clone. So once I sell the Citroen I'm going to be looking for a nice Z3 and looking forward to getting to know your site. Best wishes and a big hello, Chris

Hi Frankie, Thanks for your warm welcome from across the pond. I really do feel at home here and not so much of an old fart! Glad to hear also that you are nearly as old as me, I'm 68 on the 21st. Chris
