Hi Michael, welcome from here near Lincoln. I'm not too sure what to suggest for moss removal apart from when it's really dry most should come off with a fairly stiff nail brush. Then a clean with Autoglym soft top roof cleaner and proofer. I think that should do it for you. Lot's of info ( and fun) on here, all you need to do is ask.:)

Tony.

:welcome: . Agree with t-tony on Auto Glym for normal maintenance - not sure about moss never had to deal with it - possibly Renovo but I'm sure somebody will recommend soon.

Another Michael ! Welcome aboard :welcome:

As Tony suggests above a really good clean with Autoglym soft top kit and then sealing with the protector spray should sort it. I have also in the past used Milton which kills off any spores from the moss so if you soak a cloth in Milton and make sure you wipe under the rubber seal on the back edge of the soft top it should literally kill it dead then just use the Autoglym stuff to finish it off.

Milton is good also if you put a few drops in the washer tank where stuff tends to grow too.

Nice one Ian, I had forgotten about Milton fluid ( a long time since babies). It is also very good for getting rid of the horrible smell you can sometimes get in windscreen washer bottles.:)

Hey Michael,

As suggested the Autoglym cleaner and Proofer kit would be a good start. Also remember someone mentioning Milton sterilising fluid as that kills the green stuff.

I'm not really sure, but that's what they always recommend. Perhaps under the roof over the door(s) or.......
